New Necklace

Hey Peeps,

Just wanted to let you know that I have a new necklace in my shop:

It's a 3 strand illusion necklace that includes gold plated string, lavender freshwater pearls, gold freshwater pearls, gold starburst beads, swarvorski crystals, and gold glass pearls.

It has gold filled spring clasp and gold filled chain, which makes it adjustable. The beads are held in place by gold plated crimp beads.

I get many compliments for the one I made for myself and already have had a few orders placed at my work. Get yours now!

Movies...

So I just want to say go see District 9. It is such a wonderful sci-fi movie. It captures the imagination while still having concepts that the audience can identify in their own life. I am not meaning this to be a review in any sense of the word, I just want to say it is one of the only worth while movies to see this summer.

I have to say if you are squeamish this movie might not be for you as it is violent and graphic at times especially at the end. But the violence and graphic nature is not every second of the movie however. It has a very nice pace and was well balanced.

Just my two cents :] Hope you all have a nice weekend!

New Bracelet & Store

Hi Everyone,

So I just want to say I have a new store, as you can tell by the changes I have made to this page. The reason behind this is Katabasys is just a very uninviting name for a store and did not represent the objects I was trying to sell. My new Etsy store is A Perfect Dream.

I also decided that I will just be selling jewelry and will include bracelets! I am not much of a bracelet wearer but they are fun to make. Here is my first listing of a bracelet:

A Dusty Rose

It is made of a variety of materials. There is a lot going on with in the three loops which make it up. There are antique cut clear glass beads, glass faux rose quartz beads, gold coated spacers of various sizes and shapes, glass Czech beads of various colors, white fossil beads, glass pearls and freshwater pearls.

Hi Again

Hi!

Sorry I haven't really been on. I have been super busy of late, first moving then going to a wedding then a small vacation and now I am getting ready to start my first 'real world' job! I hope that once I can buckle down I can post more and get back to making some jewelry, but for now I will continue to be a bit absent.

New Necklace & Facebook fan page

Hi Again!

I am writing to announce another necklace in my Etsy shop!

Usually I am more fond of navy blues with silver and white but I really love this piece. I used several differently dyed freshwater pearls including large dark grey nugget pearls with navy blue round glass beads, accented by gold colored metal spacers and metal beads with a gold foil touch.

This is a classy piece that is perfect for going to work with or dressing up any outfit. I can make matching earrings and bracelet, just convo me.

The necklace is about 18.5 inches long with a pretty brass swirl toggle closure.
